The holidays are coming which means there will be more frequent get togethers and out of town guests staying in your home. With that many people around, you are going to want to make sure everyone is feeling their best! When you are preparing your home for your guests, put together a welcome basket that has everything they need to feel at home and feel well during their visit.

Winter Guest Welcome Basket

Any guest would love to be welcomed with a gift basket that is filled with goodies just for them. I know there have been many times when visiting family that I have forgotten some important things like a toothbrush or toothpaste. Take the guess work out so your guests can enjoy their visit.

One of the things I always like to have for guests is plenty of water, like Smartwater. The house can be dry in the winter due to the heat being on so water is a must. Along with the water, I put out snacks like trail mix, Premium crackers, and pretzels in case my guests need a midnight snack.

There can never be enough tissues in the house! Give your guests their own supply Kleenex. You also might want to add some Halls cough drops to help with a scratchy throat. Lysol kills 99.9% of bacteria on soft surfaces so having some disinfecting wipes on hand isn’t such a bad thing!

Finally, think of all the things that you might forget at home, like hand lotion, lip balm, mouthwash, and cozy slipper socks.

By having all of these items on hand just for your guests, they will feel welcomed in your home and will enjoy their stay!
