I really needed this weekend. A weekend away from home. Away from our everyday lives. Away from, well, just stuff.

We didn’t do much…aside from driving 4 hours one way to just get away.

We spent time with family. I went shopping alone! We rested {which was much needed}. And we ate.

Then before we knew it, it was time to come back. Coming back meant that the work week was on the horizon and our everyday stuff would be waiting for us when we got back.

I’d like to say that the daylights saving is helping since it’s still light out while I am writing this. But it’s not. It’s only “6:18” and I am ready for bed. I need to mentally prepare myself for the week ahead.

I am so not ready to get back in the swing of things.
