This weekend we were visiting the hubster’s family in Pittsburgh. We were there for a very important milestone in his grandfather’s life: his 90th birthday.

Most of the weekend, we were both unplugged, with the occassional email check. We truly were having some quality family time.

As we were sitting in a ballroom with about 100 other family members and friends, who were all present to celebrate this great day, I started to tear up.

Think about. 90 years old. 100 close friends and family. The most important people in this great man’s life were all in that room. A entire hotel ballroom filled with love, admiration, and respect.

It hit me as we were listening to the toasts that this is what it is all about.

Love.

Admiration.

Respect.

It really is all you need.
