Now that E is a big Pre-Ker and is in “school” 3 days a week, Ben and I have more time together. Ben has reached the stage where he is busy, busy, busy! I decided to capitalize on this and start “mommy” school.

We’ve been:

  • coloring
  • stacking
  • making a mess…
  • …and cleaning it up!

Of course, educational toys come into play and they give Mommy some time to get other things done. Ben loves to go from one toy to the next and pull everything out of the toy box. But one of his go-to toys is the Kids II Baby Einstein Count & Discover Treasure Chest.

The Baby Einstein Count & Discover Treasure Chest helps Ben work on his fine motor skills and hand eye coordination as he puts the coins in the slots. His favorite mode is the number mode. The treasure chest counts the coins as he puts them in. He loves hearing the numbers and claps for himself each time. Other modes include shapes and numbers. The Kids II Baby Einstein Count & Discover Treasure Chest also speaks in Spanish and French!

While we have 3 toy boxes {yes, you read that right, 3} filled with every toy imaginable, Ben seems to drag the treasure chest out every chance he gets. I think it’s the ocean bubble sounds {which are not irritating to hear, you know what I mean!}.

What’s your child’s favorite educational toy?
