We all need to get away every now and then. My husband and I just got back from a long weekend getaway to Vegas that was much deserved and needed. While we enjoyed the time we had there, we were anxious to get back home.

It’s nice to get away but home is where the heart is it, and all that jazz.

While on our mini-getaway, we had a lot of people ask us where we were from. Many told us that Philadelphia was on their list of places to want to visit. To us, it’s home and we forget all of the fabulous things there are to do here. It was a great reminder to us that we need to get out and explore our backyard more often.

From the Art Museum…

…to Valley Forge National Park…

…and, of course, Independence Hall.

Oh and don’t forget to grab yourself a soft pretzel or two {or twelve}.

There is so much to do and see when you visit Philadelphia, you’re gonna need some fuel to keep you moving. Cafes are roasting their own signature beans, baristas specialize in perfectly engineered espressos and coffeehouses use one-of-a-kind La Marzocco machines. From an Australian flat white to a Chemex-brewed cuppa, the possibilities for delicious caffeination are endless.
