I am ready for Halloween with this Candy Corn Punch with the help of Sweet’N Low® as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #donthesitaste

We are only a few weeks away from Halloween which means I am trying out some new recipes and drinks for a Halloween celebration. Since Halloween is on a Saturday this year, there is more time for festivities and fun!

Every year, I try out a new recipe or drink for the kids for an after Trick-or-Treating treat. In the past, I have done sweets but that kinda seems redundant doesn’t it. They come home with bags of candy! They don’t really need another sweet.

This year, I’m whipping up this fun and easy Candy Corn Punch! It’s fun and fizzy and I know the kids will love it.

To make Candy Corn Punch, you will need lemonade, orange soda,  yellow sports drink, and lots of ice!

You can make your own lemonade at home using just water, Sweet’N Low®, and, of course, lemons. You can enjoy the sweetness you love without the extra calories with the help of Sweet’N Low®!

Bring 6 cups water, 36 packets of Sweet’N Low® and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat, stirring occasionally. Remove saucepan from heat, add reserved lemons, cover, and let stand for 10 minutes.

Mix in the juice of 8 lemons to your simple syrup mix. There you have it! You have homemade lemonade. Now you are ready to make your own Candy Corn Punch.

Start by dissolving 3-4 packets of Sweet’N Low® in warm water. Dip the tops of your glasses into the water. Do not submerge completely!

Next, dip the tops of your glasses into Halloween sprinkles to create a festive rim. Set aside to dry.

Once your glasses are dry, you can start assembling your Candy Corn Punch. Fill your glasses all the way up to the top with ice. This is really important as the ice will keep your layers separate. Pour your orange soda in first, then the yellow sports drink, and, finally, your lemonade. Serve immediately!

The layers will mix if you use a straw or move the glasses around too much.

You could make use the same steps for Candy Corn Punch to make any festive drink, like a Red White and Blue Punch for the Fourth of July!
