This week, I am looking back on my posts from the year and sharing with you some of my favorites. Yesterday, I shared with you my favorite recipes from 2014. Today, I am sharing with you my best blogging tips!
Best Blogging Tips of 2014
This was a two part series where I shared with you some simple ways you could get your blog ready for the new year.
I love to take pictures and, usually, if there is a photo I need for the blog, I can take it myself. But there are times when I just don’t have the time or resources to take what I need. In those cases, I turn to stock photos but I am very particular on the ones I use. I want them to match my style and fit nicely into my blog.
These five simple things can make a huge improvement on your site today. Not only will they help you get better organized but they will make your site look cleaner and run smoother.
If you still use “admin” as your login for your WordPress site, you may want to think about changing your username. Here, I walk you through the easy process!
I am all about finding ways to save myself some time especially when it comes to email. You have to find the hacks that make your email work for you not you working your email! Boomerang can help you do just that.
I had been wanting to make a fancy schmancy recipe index for ages, I just never thought I had the time to sit down and do it. Boy was I wrong. It’s actually pretty easy! In about five minutes, I had my newrecipe index ready to go!
If you spend a lot of time responding to emails with the same thing (for example, with your media kit or advertising rates), setting up a canned response will save you HOURS of typing the same thing over and over again.
If you have been around for awhile, you know that I offer printables from time to time. I love making them. It means I get to play with all my fun fonts. Being in about 1,000 Blogger Facebook groups, the question of “How do I make and add a printable to my blog post?” comes up from time to time.
