Sports are in full swing – between football, baseball, and hockey, there are plenty of games to choose from to watch. And since we are in the middle of baseball pre-season, I have lost the battle of the TV.  If your husband is anything like mine, he’s glued to the TV watching {especially when his team was still in the running – Go Pirates!}.

This preseason, green up your game day and hit a home yum—oops, I mean—run! While you are watching the game, you need some game time food and snacks.

One of my favorite lunches is egg salad. Egg salad can a bit boring so you need to spice it up a bit from time to time. This time? I added some diced avocado! Going in, I wasn’t so sure about it , but it’s an amazing combination. Available year-round, fresh Avocados from Mexico make any dish better, especially for game day – from sandwiches and dips, to chili, salads and more. Just one ounce of fresh Avocados from Mexico has 50 calories and can enhance any recipe with a creamy, rich flavor that contributes nearly 20 vitamins and minerals, making it a good choice to help meet nutrient needs!
